Today we celebrate st. Luke the evangelist. The readings of today shows how resilient of a disciple he was to st. Paul. Even while most of Paul's other disciples had left him, Luke was faithful even to the end. How many of us christians can be as faithful and diligent as Luke was; dedicated to the work of God with all his time and talents and this is what birthed the Gospel of Luke as we have today. Today we remember this great man and evangelist and asks for his intercession for us to God. Amen
